How we scored Unibet
Unibet UK: Licence and Regulatory Record
Unibet UK runs under the licence of Platinum Gaming Limited, a company registered in Gibraltar. Its Gambling Commission account, number 45322, covers bingo, casino, general betting and pool betting. The remote casino licence has been in force since 12 July 2016. On 30 September 2026 the register showed it as active and listed unibet.co.uk among the domains the company has declared for customers in Great Britain.

Regulatory action. On 22 September 2025 the Gambling Commission recorded regulatory action against Platinum Gaming Limited. The register lists additional conditions attached to its licence, a financial penalty and a warning. The register links the decision to breaches of licence condition 12.1.1 between January 2023 and May 2024. The licence was not suspended or revoked, and Unibet still trades under it. We lowered its licence and protection score from 5.0 to 4.7 as a result.
